TRASTEVERE District
The boho atmosphere of Rome among the most characteristic alleys and squares of the famous district across the Tiber River.
Translating literally, the word “Trastevere”comes from the Latin “trans Tiberim”, meaning “beyond the Tiber”; the walk will cross the charming Sisto Bridge to arrive on the right bank of the river to get lost amidst colorful alleys and bohemian atmospheres. An itinerary to Trastevere means to get lost into the most authentic heart of the Eternal City, with its fascinating narrow lanes, artisan workshops and quaint trattorias. Guests will pass through avoiding the touristic trails and discovering the real soul of this charming area.
The experience will be private and hosted by an art historian guide. A relaxed gourmand roman food tasting will be offered following the season and the time of the tour.
